meg...@ As someone with sensitive skin and quite a few skin allergies, what I look in a serum is something reliable, calming, at least lightly hydrating, a little moisturizing (I tend to like serums with some oils included), and full of barrier-supporting ingredients. Celimax Barrier Boosting Serum is almost everything I want. It’s a medium-weight liquid with a semi-opaque color and a pleasantly smooth texture. It may not offer any extraordinary benefits, but it’s a solid option for people whose skin needs gentle attention rather than actives. I wish it were a little cheaper or came in a bigger size. Overall, it’s a great simple serum for those with sensitive or sensitized skin. It sinks in nicely, feels comforting, and layers well under other products (as long as they’re not heavier oil-based creams). I think it may be causing some scattered closed comedones for me, but it hasn’t caused a breakout or any irritation.
