It definitely has the same finely milled texture and leaves the skin soft and flawless. Plus it uses mica instead of silica which is a definite bonus in my book! Unfortunately though, it does have flashback (but so does the HD Powder).

seriously, give it a chance, is awesome, i love it cause covers my shiny face almost all the day, it's soft and there is no way to make a mistake with the color, cause this has no color :'D
