I have not tried the banilla zero clean, so I can't make any comparisons. But out of all the oil/solid cleansers or makeup removers, this has been my favorite. It completely removes my makeup, and it doesn't leave a weird residue on my skin after I've rinsed it off with water or foam cleanser.
