The pad is thinner than other brands pad. However, the texture of the pad is slightly rougher in a way.

I will continue to buy this product for as long as I can. The cica soothes the skin and leaves it very soft. No harsh smells noted. You get a lot of the product in the tub. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy somerhing to soothe irritated skin.
