You can't really rely on eye patches for drastic effect, so honestly this is just a quick extra hydration and cooling for my eyes on the days i feel like my face is swollen or i feel like there's too much heat on my face. Gets that job done :)

I use these eye patches occasionally when I feel my undereyes are looking dull. The patches have a pleasant smell that's not overpowering, and my undereyes look more awake after using them!
