I pprefer a more matte look but sometimes I'll use this like a highlighter for a little glow. At least for my combination skin, i can't use this cushion for my entire face or I'll look too shiny. But it definitely brightens my complexion in the beginning......just too shiny for my personal preference for an all-face use.
