WAY better than using you hands/fingers to wash your face. Face feels so much cleaner after using. My skin tends to get a little dry and flaky, and washing my face using my hands don't really get those flakes of. But this does! And I don't know how to describe it, but it feels very pleasant to use. I wouldn't say it feels like a face massage, but it feels really good ahaha. And the brush holder is really handy too
