It's definitely really soothing. I can see it greatly reduced the redness and inflammation in my skin within 30min. It's great for calming acne skin, but not for fighting acne. It does not provide a large amount of moisture (I have dehydrated skin also), and should be used for its anti-inflammatory effect. You can use this right before you moisturizer and it will not clog pores.
