This essence is very good. It is watery yet hydrating. I usually do 3-5 layers of this essence after my toner. It really helped hydrate and calm my skin down from redness. The smell is decent too. I purchased again.

The toner has a smooth, watery texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves a refreshing feeling without being sticky or heavy. Overall, the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Water Essence is a lightweight and refreshing toner that is suitable for all skin types. However, I find that it does not provide me with enough hydration, so I have to apply multiple layers to get the hydration I need.

This essence water contains 80% ginseng water and 2% niacinamide, offering deep moisturization, sebum regulation, even skin tone, and balanced oil-water levels. Its watery texture is extremely lightweight to the point where I can't feel any moisturizing effect at all. It's as if I'm applying plain water with no impact whatsoever. Unfortunately, it has further destabilized my skin condition and even caused breakouts. This has left me profoundly disappointed in BOJ's skincare products.
