This serum has a watery, runny texture that absorbs swiftly into my skin. It has no scent and does not have a greasy feel to it. It has 20% niacinamide and 1% zinc, which helps to enhance the look of my pores, reduce sebum production, and fade my pimple marks. Because of the high concentration of Niacinamide it might be drying to certain people, so I recommend to gradually introducing this product into your routine and continue to use it until your skin has acclimated.
Because high concentrations of niacinamide might cause irritation and even skin purging, I used this product frequently at night. It can also make my skin more sensitive to the sun, so I make sure to put on sunscreen every morning.

Ingredients are great for oil control, but niacinamide 20% is a very high concentration. (“Gentle”, you say? Huh.) The consistency is also sooo sticky, and I can’t get past it. I’ll use it on my chin and nose when blackheads are out of control.

Pore boosting serum |

This is a 20% niacinamide serum that is great booster to anyone skincare routine. With the high concentration of niacinamide, I would not recommend using it daily rather find a niacinamide serum with a lower concentration to use daily. If your skin is sensitive to this ingredient, I recommend sitting this serum out. This serum has fit nicely into my routine and I cannot wait to see the long term effects. I do note my serum has had a lot of precipitate. I wonder what chemical is precipitating. I haven’t found this reaction to impact my skin. I highly recommend this serum for those with oily skin or people who love niacinamide!

I have dry skin, and I found this serum to be quite drying and weak in terms of changing the appearance of my pores. I started using it consistently and noticed that my skin became quite tight and began peeling, this was not to do with applying many products as I kept my routine simple. I believe this product would work for oily skin. The liquid is thin but not particularly hydrating.
