Dokdo ampoule has a bit thick gel texture, but as it touches the skin, it becomes watery and absorbs well. It can provide more hydration for my dry skin by mixing it with moisturizer.

It’s like a water bomb in a bottle: it absorbs into the skin really nicely with a slightly tacky finish that goes away pretty quickly. The ingredients list contains no irritants. It’s moisturizing, soothing, and free of any fragrance. It also goes well to layer other products over it.

Longer absorption time but it's a good ampoule |

I read that most reviewers mentioned that this ampoule take its sweet time to absorb into the skin and I seconded their opinions. And I find it to be absorbed quickly when it is paired with a thin layers of face mist, essence and serums (most of them are of watery texture btw) with ratio 1:1:1 (meaning that you only wear one layer of each products). Multiple layers will make it harder for the ampoule to absorb into the skin hence the longer absorption time.
I tend to wear it only with the toner (or other watery toners) for my simple night routine. With the right mood, I'd apply this ampoule after a soothing sheetmask as to amplify its hydrating and soothing properties before sealing it with an occlusive moisturizer.
Overall, it is good ampoule if you're looking for a simple product that could boost your hydration game

I wasn’t expecting much from it, but it was extremely nourishing and hydrating! As you can see in the video, it’s a really light gel type, but the finish is very hydrating and glowy. I haven’t seen an ampoule this glowy before!
