First, I love the new packaging—easy to use and minimal. I personally prefer this new packaging. The texture is watery and runny, but when I applied it to my skin, you really could tell that it has aloe vera and hyaluronic acid in it. My skin feels smooth and moisturized which I like because I have dry skin. It also contains 0.5% of BHA to remove dead skin cells and blackheads. It is also good for acne-prone skin like mine.

Packed with skin-benefitting ingredients such as aloe and salicylic acid, it helps so much in treating my dull skin! It may not heal the acne specifically, but it does prevent further breakouts! The toner is clear with the viscosity slightly thicker than water. It absorbs almost instantaneously into my skin, leaving my face sleek, smooth and less oily in texture.

I've had horrible experience with BHA in the past, it severely damaged my skin barrier and caused itchy pimples with a watery substance flowing out of them consistently, it feels terrible. I promised to myself that I would never use BHA-containing products again, but this toner is a game changer. It’s gentle but effective with no irritation experienced at all. I use this toner twice a week, although it’s indicated that it can be used daily. After a few weeks of use, the improvements are clearly noticeable. It reduced my forehead acne while giving mild exfoliation as well as soothing and moisturizing my skin. This toner contains 0.5% of salicylic acid, making it gentle and ideal for beginners and those with sensitive skin.

The toner was my introduction to chemical exfoliators back in the day. I had loved it then but I love it even more now that it has been renewed. I thought the renewed version was all about the packaging, but to my delight the texture has changed as well. The toner has now more weight than before and is super hydrating. The aloe balances the BHA wonderfully and you end up with exfolited AND hydrated skin. It's like a 2 in 1 kind of product. I have super sensitive skin, but this toner has never irritated my skin even when I go crazy with the frequency (although usually I use it two to three times per week). This is the perfect chemical exfoliator for wintertime, sensitive skin, irritated skin, and beginners. If these descriptions apply to you, go get some!
