Soothes Irritated Skin Quickly |
alp...@ |
I studied complementary alternative medicine for few years, so i already know aloe would come in handy for minor sunburns and kitchen burns. However, this gel has a dual use. It not only soothes inflamed skin, but can also be combined with harsh acidic skin care products to hydrate and reduce irritation. I used it with the Benton Vitamin C serum and no irritation at all, I even tried it with retinol and it worked out great. This gel instantly cools and hydrated skin with aloe and propolis. I like that this is natural, clean product with no fragrances or dyes. The only drawback is that this product is a bit gooey and takes a few minutes to dry, so only use a little because it goes a long way. I would recommend this product and this is also a helpful first aid product to keep around in case of sunburns.

Not good for sensitive skin |

I wanted a product to sooth and help me calm my skin, but it did quite the opposite. It literally made me full on red and my face sting.

i'm on my third tube of this soothing gel, and it's still amazing. i love using it during the summer months because of how lightweight it is. i have dry skin, though, so i use it in the morning because i don't need such a heavy moisturizer as i layer sunscreen on top of it.
