I was excited to try this after seeing so many reviews describe this sunscreen as having a light, lotion-like finish. I do think that this has a more cosmetically elegant finish than the vast majority of sunscreens out there, and it does have a light, lotion-like finish - if you're applying it as sparingly as you would with a lotion. But when using anywhere approaching the recommended 1/4 tsp amount, this will definitely leave a tacky, shiny finish, unless perhaps you have extremely dehydrated skin that drinks up anything applied topically. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, though -- this is still an excellent sunscreen at the price point, and I still happily use this with a little powder on top.
