I've been wanting to try out a retinol product that is beginner's friendly and this one is pretty much what I need. I've heard horror stories from people who used retinol and I'm glad none of those happened to me. I use this once a week and I think it's enough for me. It does not sting my face when I use this. It feels like a light cream applied when applied on my face. I wear a heavier moisturiser when I use this because I feel like it does dry out my face a bit. Overall, good starter product for anyone starting their retinol journey.

This was the first time I bought retinol and was a bit afraid that my skin will be sensitive to it, but it actually works well.

My first retinol |

This is my first time ever and it’s super potent. I have matured skin and this made me very sensitive to the sun despot me putting on spf, hat and mask. After one time used I took a couple of months break and came back layer it after soothing cream and made it bearable the next day.

COSRX The retinol 0.1 cream |

The packaging could be better. It does say that you should be cautious when opening it for the first time because the product could squeeze out. When I first opened it, a lot of the product was squeezed out (assuming due to the pressure). I didn't want to waste or use it all over my face sadly. And also it's hard to clean it out of the cap.
