It didn't cause any sort of irritation and I found it to be calming and relaxing to my skin after I exfoliated. It did seem to help soften my skin but I didn't love the residue...it's not awful and I can live with it. Overall, I really liked it and enjoyed the scent and the feel of the bubbles on my face.
