This is my second bottle and I can say that this does a good job at absorbing into the skin and brightening/lightening up my hyperpigmentation. It sits well underneath makeup and feels light on the skin. However, it does take some time to see results and it works on your overall skin tone. So if you want to just target hyperpigmentation spots and not the overall skin tone than vitamin C serums might work better for you.
