Decent clean balm (RSG) |

This balm is my first step in my night skincare routine. It goes on and spreads easily, and it does it's job cleaning pretty well. But, comparing to the BOJ cleaning balm, this one has a little bit of a smell and it seems like by comparison, it doesn't clean my nose (prone to having black heads) as well. The packaging is also a little bit faulty, maybe it's just the one I got. It doesn't really close all the way.

Finally got to try this item thanks to the 3.33 promo, have been using for a while now and absolutely enjoy how cleanly it removes my makeup and leaves my skin feeling after. Would recommend this to my friends!

I received this product through RSG and it's now my new HG makeup remover! I use this as the first step in my evening routine to clean off my makeup. The texture feels so luxurious on my skin and wipes away my waterproof makeup at ease. I used to use FARMACY green clean and this is a great replacement for that product. The smell is also so delightful and refreshing. I highly recommend!

I've been wanting to try this product for a while now. The balm immediately melts down into a silky smooth oil and is a pleasure to use. It leaves my skin feeling clean, yet it doesn't dry it out, which is unusual for my super sensitive skin. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is the scent. Yes, it does remind me of a luxurious spa treatment, but it also smells like mosquito repellent for me. I don't think it would be a problem for the general public, but it does bother me. Overall a good product.

I use this at night to remove any makeup and/or sunscreen, taking a scoop onto dry skin, massaging it on my face and neck. It spreads easily, turning into an oil to cleanse off everything effectively. Once you add water, it emulsifies into a milky texture that easily rinses off. It removes all makeup except waterproof mascara completely, but I use a separate eye makeup remover. (Unsure if this stings eyes or not)
I like how it doesn’t irritate or strip skin, and it doesn’t leave a filmy residue. It does contain several essential oils that give this balm the herbal/citrus scent. These EOs may cause irritation if you have sensitive skin although product is marketed as hypoallergenic.
However I do think this is one of the better cleansing balms out there and would repurchase again
