i finally bought into the hype because there was a good sale going on for this. it definitely does what it claims to do, my pores are clean and stay clean even if i don't use this product daily. it removes makeup and sunscreen well but it did sensitize me when i used it around my eye area. but.... its just not my favorite product. for reference, my holy grail oily cleanser is the softymo speedy cleanser (pink bottle). this one is suuuuuuper fragranced, probably the most fragranced skincare product i own. i'm not against fragrance or sensitive to it but most skincare is scentless so i don't really like having such a strong smell on my face. the texture of this one is also a lot more viscous than my holy grail cleanser but also somehow less easily spreadable??
overall it works, and arguably works pretty well. tbh i would give it 3.75 stars if i could.

The cleansing oil is ok, not great not bad. Not too sure why there's so much hype around it (probably great marketing) but it's nothing that really makes this better than other brand cleansing oils. The fragrance is also pretty heavy in this particular oil so it would not be my go to option. Not too sure if this would be a repurchase product, only maybe if it was unbelievably discounted.
