Best applied with the sponge that this comes in. I tried using beauty blender, foundation brush, wakemake spatula brush and hands down best applied with its own sponge. A little goes a long way. Looks better the longer it stays on skin. Wore well on top of sunscreen. Not matte at all - still dried satin to slightly dewy. It’s a full coverage cushion in my opinion, definitely hydrate your skin before hand as it tends to be a bit drying. I ordered the trial sets to find my right skin tone, but even so I feel it makes me a bit yellow. You can fixed it with blush and the rest of makeup so it doesn’t look off that much.
