best cleansing balm! |
mjh...@ |
I'm on my third tub of this amazing cleansing balm and have another stocked away as backup-that's how much I love this stuff! The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing, and the inner lid is thick enough that you're not stuck struggling to remove it (unlike the flimsy clean it zero lid). And speaking of Banila Co. clean it zero, I definitely prefer the Heimish balm over it's older cousin. I feel like they perform similarly well at removing makeup and sunscreen. But, the Heimish balm has hands down the better ingredients list. I have normal to dry, sensitive skin and feel like the addition of donkey milk and shea butter leave my skin feeling smoother and more supple. Plus the smell is just amazing! It has a light herbally, medicinal scent, kind of like tea tree and lavender. A true holy grail product.

been use it for a while now and i have to say i still like the "clean it zero" better. if i never used the clean it zero i would say this one is great but the zero is a tad bit better at removing all my makeup. i use a lot of waterproof makeup. so i will be going back to clean it zero.

Gently melts makeup away! |

I have used a lot of cleansing balms before I tried this one. One thing I will say that I absolutely hate is the smell. It smells botanical, like a mixture of plants all enclosed in a room (I only know this smell because my mom is a florist) but at this point the I have gotten use to the smell. It truly gently melts your makeup off your face without any stinging sensation. I personally also think the price is worth it since you're getting 120 ml of product. I also love that there a top layer with the spatula and it's easy to remove and put back on. I like to keep the spatula with the product at all times. I also can't get over how beautiful the packaging is!

this is actually my second time having a balm type makeup remover aside from the banila co. Clean it Zero. Since the maker of heimish used to work at banila co. I can barely see a difference because both of them are equally and extremely good at taking off all the makeup on your face. From heavy to waterproof/longlasting makeup has nothing against this incredible makeup remover. Those oil type makeup remover that I used before was a little bit drying which made me turn to something else cause I have a seriously DRY, ACNE PRONE and SENSITIVE skin. So I'm so glad to find this! All in all, I LOOOVEEE using both of them (banila co. and heimish). the only DIFFERENCE they have is that heimish has a "spa scent" in it whereas banila co.(clean it zero purity) has almost none.
