I'm going to be honest, I totally bought this product for the cute packaging. I mean, can you blame me?! It's too cute! (TonyMoly and they're cute packaging right?!) Anyway, packaging aside I think this is a good product! It has a very sunscreen-like consistency (like the Innisfree sunscreen) and has a fresh scent. You're supposed to massage this into your skin and let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. As you massage this into your skin, you'll start to feel it tingle. (At least I did and have heard from other people that it's common) It's not an overly painful sensation, but it's definitely there. It does have a temporary brightening effect and it looks pretty natural. it claims to even out the skintone with continued use, but I haven't had this long enough to see if that claim is true. Here is where my confusion comes in After I apply face masks, I normally go in with my normal skincare routine (Toner, essence, serum/ampoule, moisturizer, eye cream and sunscreen) I normally apply my toner with a cotton pad and when I do so the brightening effect is immediately wiped off.. So, my advice through trial and error is to apply toner with your hands and just gently pat into your skin (tokktokk!) Also patting your skincare with your hands helps as well, but we should be patting it in instead of rubbing anyway. (We don't want premature wrinkles now, do we?) I like having this product on hand for special occasion, or when I just want a nice brightening effect that'll have more benefits to my skin rather than just using an ordinary tone-up cream. Not too sure if I would repurchase but I do enjoy this product while I have it!
