Editor Anna who has the most oily skin in Style Korean team used Red Line skin care products of Medicube for 2 weeks and has come back with the review! They have become famous as anti-acne skin care lines through word-of-mouth and there are 7 products in Red Line of Medicube, having 5 basic skin care products and 2 new ones that recently introduced. I will be back soon a review of the 2 new ones that will be in stock in stylekorean shortly. For today, let me explain the 5 original basic products and offer you the reviews.

I recommend you to use Red Line’s 5 steps in order of Foam Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Cream, Scar ointment. I used all 5 steps at night for the last 2 weeks, and applied only Foam Cleanser, Toner and Serum in the morning. These were so mild and soothing in terms of texture and smell that I became relaxed. I was used to getting new acne everyday but there is not a single acne  newly appearing on my skin now! (Wow)

★UNBOXING★

A Skincare Review on Medicube's Red Line

The package of Red Line looks simple and clean based on white colour. The simple package design look like dermatological products and looks more trustful, and even it’s too cute to use them all when all of 5 being collected and displayed.

I will begin with the 1st step, Foam Clean. Salicylic Acid and soothing, fine foam of Red Foam Cleanser cleans away wastes, dead skin, sebum etc. and gets rid of makeup leftover. Needless to say, it would be better to use after removing makeup with cleansing tissue or cleansing oil first. In terms of size, 120ml is similar with other products, but it enables you to wash properly enough whole face and even neck with small amount of it so that you can remove the oil enjoyably.

After washing face with a Red Foam Cleanser and wiping off with a clean towel, toner hydrates your skin. Red Toner is like jelly and thicker than ordinary toner products, you need to tap firmly to use, and although the texture is somewhat heavy it’s not sticky. This toner offers a refreshing way to finish your cleansing routine like you feel you just receive skin care treatment in dermatology.

Next, it’s time to use Red Serum. This one is my favorite in Red Line. It’s the freshest and lightest serum I’ve ever used, and even looks good. A bluish colour makes me feel good whenever I use. Opening a small and translucent cap and pumping to cheeks and forehead directly with cotton pad that used with tonner and spread broadly and quickly not to drop on the floor. β-glucanBetaine,Glycerin help to hydrate your skin even more. From my experience, I would say it’s enough to use serum rather than all products to keep moisturizing even when you put on make-up.

A Skincare Review on Medicube's Red Line

In the evening, Red Cream is next stage of Red Serum. I assume that everyone knows the fact that using too much skin care products is not good for especially oily/trouble/sensitive skin. However, Red Cream in Medicube is light and fresh so that you won’t think that you put too much. When passing autumn and winter comes, cream is also necessary to balance between oil and water as oily skin also gets dry. Using the spatula in the box, scoop a dollop of moisturizers and absorb it into skin with end of fingers. As seen in the picture, you won’t feel like it’s too heavy because it’s not sticky at all. It might be dry for mixed skin type, but it’s excellent for oily skin for sure.

The very last stage is Centella Asiatica Ointment that paid compliment the most amongst the Red Line products. It is a partial treatment ointment helping to treat the scar and skirt ulcer all the way through. It’s not slippery or sticky so you don’t need to worry pillow or duvet to be stained. I’ve found that it doesn’t take as long as it did to remove and reduce any scar tissue buildup thanks to this ointment. The only thing you need to do is to spread a pee-sized dollop of moisturizer and absorb into skin.

★Strength★

-Simple and consistent package design.
-Being light and smoothing with pleasant odor.
-All products make me feel disinfected and cured properly with refreshment.

★Weakness

- It is somewhat burdensome in terms of price although I’d like to use a full range of products.

A Skincare Review on Medicube's Red Line

Large and well-balanced quantity of products enables me to purchase all products at the same time. I want to give score 5 out of 5 in this Red Line basic skin care products. Every single product is mild and fresh, thus I want to keep using them. I strongly recommend for oily and mixed skin, and also people who are worried about acne or acne scars. I will be back with new, Red concealer and red solution kit shortly. It won’t let you down!
