Today, we are going to review a very special product by new Korean cosmetic brand ‘Bellonera’. I guess you are wondering what ‘Bellonera’ means. It is a combination of the words ‘BELLON’ which means ‘sparkling’ in dialect of Jeju providence and ‘ERA’ which means ‘specific period’. Altogether it means ‘the most beautiful and sparkling era’ that women can live. The goal of the brand is to help all women expose their own beauty they have, and not to cover it up with makeup.

   Bellonera is a new brand since it has been less than a year after the launching. Two of its products, Air BB Cream and The First EE, have entered cosmetic competition and The Fist EE is what we are going to have a look today. It is amazing that we have a product called EE Cream now, going through BB, CC and DD Cream. EE Cream is an abbreviation for ‘Easy & Equalizing Skintone Cream’ that helps equalize skin tone and skin texture, supplying moisture to skin at the same time.

   The package has simple black and white color design with a luxurious cute gold-colored heart. There is Korean instruction for EE Cream on the back of the package and for tint on the side. There are two types of the product, sorted by the color of tints while the type of EE cream is all same. You can distinguish the colors of tints by the sticker on the lower surface of the package.

   When you twist-open the top lid of the product, you can find a lip tint which is very creamy and when you twist the whole lid of the product you will find EE Cream. It used to be a very pretty round shape but now it is dented since I have used it for more than a month.

   I have applied the EE Cream on the back of my hand, you can see that it equalizes the tone just like sunscreens do. Actually it has UV blocking effect(SPF50+/PA+++) so I use it as sunscreen. But as you can see it does not have covering effect!

   I have applied both of them on the back of my hand to show you the color difference between tint and EE Cream. Both of them have very moderate color which is suitable to create natural looks.

 

   Now I have applied the tint on my lips and it applies very smoothly, not highlighting dead skin cells on my lips nor getting between wrinkles. The scent of EE Cream is just like any other sunscreen scent, but the scent of lip tint is very sweet like bubble gums, makes me feel good! The sweet scent does not last long, so don’t worry even if you don’t like sweet odor.

   I personally think it is very nice to use when it is difficult to put heavy makeup such as when you have to go out for a moment, when you go camping or when you fly in a plane, etc.
