Review: [Wonder Bath] Salon De Tte
Today I’m going to be reviewing the biggest trend in Korea - Wonderbath’s Salon De Tte! Since it’s launch a couple of months ago it’s been the “it” product everyone’s been wanting to get their hands on! And I understand why! First and foremost, it was created by Chosungah, legendary makeup artist and product creator, so the quality and luxury of it is guaranteed! Second, the item is genuinely a lot of fun! So, let’s get started!
Wonder Bath’s Salon De Tte has been a regular feature on Korean home shopping channels for a while now. What’s most impressive is that they’ve sold out each and every time! And the secret behind it’s success is the product’s impressive properties. It’s a multi-functional pad that is capable of the following: cleansing + toning + brightening + exfoliating
The Unboxing
The packaging of this product is wonderfully simple and chic yet functional. Each scrub is wrapped in an individual folder to ensure it’s hygienic to use and carry around. So if you’re planning to travel, just pop a couple in your pouch and you’re all set! One downside to it is that it doesn’t have any English instructions which is a little bit disappointing as the “how to use” section is quite important (but no worries, StyleKorean has you covered)!

The Reveal
This pad has two sides. The first is the Salon De Tte step (white) which is used for cleansing. The second is the Sesin step (green) and is used to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, sebum and other impurities from your skin.
Though Wonder Bath’s Salon De Tte can be used for cleansing, it cannot remove more stubborn traces of makeup such as waterproof eyeliner and mascara. So before I started, I wiped off everything using a face wipe and then got to work with the pads. And look at that! I was amazed to see so much makeup residue and impurities left over! It’s gross but so satisfying!
Next is the exfoliating step. I have combination / dry skin so I’m prone to excess sebum around my nose and dry patches on my chin all of which seemed to dissolve away with the pad.
After these two steps, I rinsed off the product and was happy to find my skin feeling smooth, refreshed and hydrated. Best of all, the excess sebum and dead skin cells were gone!
Pros & Cons
Pros:
✦ It does everything it says it will – cleanses, exfoliates and brightens.
✦ Perfect all season round! Winter for dry flaky skin and summer for excess sebum.
✦ Extremely easy to use and the results immediate.
✦ Affordable
Cons:
✦ Though this pad is capable of cleansing to a certain degree it cant remove waterproof eyeliners or mascaras.
Overall, Wonder Bath’s Salon De Tte is definitely worth a try!
