COSRX reformulated a lot of products and re-branded into a minimalist yet elegant packaging. They created collections like Hydrate, Acne Line and more. I love their rebranding! ~ they are a really known brand here but they still continue to innovate. For their AC Collection, they developed a centella complex which they named as CentellAC-RX Formula after years of experimenting. (This includes the first 3 ingredients in the KEY INGREDIENTS below). It aims not only to treat acne but also heal your compromised skin. The special formula allows the skin to return to its healthy state.
COSRX AC Collection
Ultimate Spot Cream
• The tube is designed to dispense just a tiny bit of product so you won’t go overboard. And you don’t waste the product.
• Texture is balm-like that starts as an opaque white color but disappears when you spread it evenly. It has a slight cooling effect which I like. It helps in calming my inflammed pimple. For a spot treatment, I like that this one is not drying. They formulate it to treat pimple while keeping it hydrated. Gentle but does that work, Great job on that.
• For the effectiveness, it’s not a wow product where you’ll see your pimple dried out the next day. For me it took 1-2 days, sometimes it takes more because my acne are stubborn. It’s effective both for popped and not popped pimples. The patch and this cream is a really great combo!
As mentioned in cosrx site, it advisable to use after washing your face.
Tip: Put a thick layer on the affected area before going to sleep for a more optimal result.

Acne Patch
Having an acne-prone skin, you need to have stocks of acne patches. It’s definitely a game changer! I got used to buying 2 versions, the original red (night use) and the black clear patch (morning use).
What I noticed first was it has a unique shape. What we usually see for patches are circle right? But this one’s oval shaped. The adhesive part is bigger so if you’ll use it on your nose or jaw, it still adheres well. If you’ve tried cosrx clear and the original patch, it’s a mix of the 2. The best version of the 3. It has matte feels and is invisible. (See pics) It contains 26 patches. 6 big patches, 9 medium sized and 9 small. Among the 3, this one sticks the best. Based on experience, the original patch accumulates most puss.
They mentioned that the oval shaped patch is for covering multiple acne spots at once and body acne. I usually have cystic and big ones so this really works for me.
I will be buying this now instead of buying 2 separate patches! Thank you @stylekorean_global for introducing this to me!
Let’s do a game, FIND THE PATCH! Comment where do you think the patch is.

Calming Foam Cleanser
- This one is the new version for their Salicylic Acid facial wash that I was fond of before. But now I looked for a more gentle and hydrating cleansers nowadays.
- The smell is a bit strong even for me considering that I’m not scentsitive.
- Foam is just right.
- Gives you the squeaky feeling after washing. The weird thing is that I don’t feel any tightness afterwards. This may be too much for those who have dry skin and those who have healthy skin barriers.
- I would recommend this to oily peeps as it may be drying for others.

First Impressions:
For the last 3 products, I will be giving my first impressions. I broke out after using them for a week so I stopped using them for now. I’m still on the process of healing and finding which specific product broke me out. I’ll update you on my Instagram (@rosecoloredskin) which product is the culprit! My jaw area felt dry and bunch of pimples started popping out. I also had 3 painful cystic acne and some mini popping out on my cheeks and mouth area. I rarely get pimples on my cheeks! Here are the photos for your reference.

- CentellAC-Rx Complex
- Madecassic acid : Protect skin & Calming
- Asiaticoside : Help keep skin transparent and clear
- Asiatic acid : Strengthen skin barrier & Help maintain skin balance

The smell reminds me of the BHA A-sol! The scent brought me back to the first time I’ve tried an acid on my routine ~ BHA Skin Returning A-Sol. This is a treatment toner, meaning it has actives on it so don’t forget to patch test first. It has a watery texture. It’s mild so this one doesn’t sting. I don’t feel the calming part though. Did I mention it’s alcohol-free.
Tips to use it:
- Soak cotton pads for calming effect
- As body mist for body acne

Lightweight Soothing Moisturizer
- I just love the texture when I spread it on my face. It’s gel type so it’s perfect for oily skin. It feels so lightweight too.
- Free of oil, fragrance, silicone, and gluten.
- Not sticky! It’s absorbed fast.
- Hydrating!
- It has this cooling sensation which helps in calming.
- For a gel type moisturizer, this one makes your skin plump the next day.
- I like it but I’m not sure if this is the culprit.
KEY INGREDIENTS

I was so surprised it’s watery. It feels like putting on toner/ essence. I can’t really say it lightens blemish as I need more time to test it. I only tried it for a week and I stopped because my skin got compromised probably because I used them all simultaneously. I will get to the bottom of this once I know who’s the culprit.
