Revitalizing Set

BEST REVIEWER

Amira @miracikcit

It's my first time with this brand Madeca Derma. I signed up for Style Korean's Try Me Review when I saw they were giving these out to try, solely because they said it's loaded with Cica. I'm still ain't over Cica even though I've been into this ingredient for over a year now. For the past year, I've tried various products containing Cica and I'm still eager to try more. So I went through a bit on Madeca Derma and I'm already sold! LOL... Keep on reading to know why.

Madeca Derma has a 50-year-old legacy of pioneering skincare grounded in nature. The name Madeca Derma is new but it carries a long history of research for skincare activated by science and powered by nature. Below are the products in this range:

MY THOUGHTS

Have you heard of Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid? If you haven't brace yourself because it's all the purified extract of Centella Asiatica (Cica) which are called triterpenoids (TECA). You all know how good Cica is already, but guess what, TECA works better and it's the core ingredient for Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum. And it's liposomised TECA which works much much better to penetrate in the skin.

When I was doing a bit of studying about this product, I was like, WOW... WOW... this really is something as not only does it has healing properties, it's super hydrating as well! The Madeca Derma Revitalizing Serum is infused with triple-layer hyaluronic acid and it also contains quite a number of flower oils which is known for it's nourishing properties as well.

The product claims that it's deep hydrating, moisturizing, redness-reducing, firming, nourishing, soothing, and also paraben-free which made me more eager to try out. My style of skincare routine is I love applying healing and hydrating products for my night routine, so I've been using this every night straight since I've opened the box, which was like over a week now. I just feel wearing these kinds of products at night makes my skin better since I tend to sleep all the way through when it does it's 'thing'. LOL...

Anyhow, here are my thoughts about Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum.

Packaging: Simple and elegant. The dark green combined with the frosted glass just makes the product look more classy. And I love that the pump manages to pump out just the right amount needed in one go.

Texture: It's one of a kind and it's probably the tackiest serum I've ever used. I'm not complaining as I'm surprised at how it manages to absorb quite quickly into the skin too. Just a few dabs and it's good enough.

Scent wise: It reminds me of herbal medicine, LOL... but the scent ain't that strong and I keep in mind that they use plant-derived fragrance rather than artificial fragrance which is a very good thing especially for sensitive skin. Anyhow, the scent doesn't really bother me, I kinda like it.

Reaction: No irritation at all, just smoothed and hydrated skin when I wake up in the morning. I even had no pimple breakouts and my acne scars and redness seems to reduce too.

Overall, I can't find anything to complain, this Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum is my kind of serum exactly, healing and hydrating at the same time and probably my skins wake up call product because this is just the perfect product for tired skin. I'm highly recommending this for those looking for a product to treat their skin, past acne and dull skin should be good too because Cica helps to heal and hyaluronic acid pumps moisturization to the skin, which you should always remember, hydration is the key to a lively skin.

MY THOUGHTS

The ingredient list is one of the longest I've ever used for a product which also made me lazy to go fully through them all. Since I'm no expert, I don't want to complicate my brain with how they mix everything together and create the product. So I'll be sharing a bit on what I know and could understand. From going through the ingredient list, it contains a long number of plant-based oil and extracts. Also contains vitamin E and Lactic Acid.

The product claim to have 3 main key ingredients which are TECA 10,000ppm, Alkanna Tinctoria Root Extract + Glycerin 10,000ppm (Collagen + Elastin +Hyaluronic Acid) 20,000ppm. They also highlighted Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Willow Bark Extract and Nymphaea Alba Flower Extract.

Madeca Derma Revitalizing Cream pretty much sums up everything good from skin repairing, moisturizing, nourishing, brightening and anti-bacterial as well.

Packaging: Very nice and elegant. It comes in a sleek plastic tube which makes it easy to carry around for travel as well. The print also comes with a gold embossed logo making it look very classy too.

Texture: The cream is thick but very lightweight. It absorbs almost instantly into the skin without the feeling of stickiness to the skin. Once applied, the cream makes my skin feel a bit dry but actually, it isn't drying at all as I wake up my skin feels soft and plump. I think probably I'm used to using face oils and sleeping masks at night, which it's texture leaves a sticky feel to the skin. For now, I have been using this as it is with the range serum, but I kinda feel I wanna mix the cream with some face oil later on and see how it goes.

Scent wise: It kinda has a fruity scent to me but at the same time it's not fruity and more like herbal medicine but it's a good scent for me. The scent is strong during application but once it's blended in the skin, the scent seems to lose its power. Anyhow, it's still able to have quite a good scent without artificial fragrances that make this cream a keeper.

Reaction: It worked so well on my skin, I wake up with plump and moisturized skin, making me feel so good in the morning when looking into the mirror. I have never experienced any irritations nor did my skin show any signs of dryness as well. I guess it does claim what it does. What seems to be obvious is that my acne scars seem to have reduced.

Overall I highly recommend Madeca Derma Revitalizing Cream for those with minimal skin problems especially for those with sensitive skin.

MY THOUGHTS

Madeca Derma Revitalizing Mask is almost similar to Madeca Derma's Revitalizing Serum as the main ingredient focuses on TECA. Besides that, it also has quite the combination of flower oils just like the serum. I'll love to go in further the ingredients list but it's quite a long list so I'll stick to the ingredients I'm familiar with.

Packaging:

Just too elegant! Makes me feel so torn to tear them but the goodness inside is better. These sheet masks come in a box of ten and it more than enough to help you achieve that glow you're looking for.

Texture:

The sheet mask is cotton as it states on the packaging which is 100% cotton which makes it very easy to handle for application.

Scent wise:

Unlike their other products, I feel Madeca Derma Revitalizing Mask has less scent than their other products.

Reaction:

I've used these masks for 7 nights straight included in my PM routine and it created such an amazing result. There were no irritations nor stings at all.

Overall I feel like this mask achieves its aims to help refresh and hydrate skin for a more radiant, healthy-looking glow. What I love most is the instant freshness to the skin once applied. Its serum is also thick and milky which makes it easier to apply as it doesn't run down the arms once it's out of the packaging. I noticed that these masks really preps the skin before revitalizing serum is used. It creates a nice bouncy and healthy-looking glow to the skin.

Till then peeps!
