My experience with the StyleKorean X Benton Goodbye Summer Acne Kit
Aloe Hyaluron Cream
This combination of ingredients has created an ultra-smooth cream texture that leaves lightweight residue, a finish that’s not too noticeable, and simply forms a moisture barrier on the epidermis for prolonged moisture retention that lasts throughout wear. In a sense the texture is reminiscent of a snail cream when first applied, but settles on skin like an almost undetectable gel-cream hybrid. I honestly haven’t tried another product like this before, and therefore have nothing to compare it too. It’s unique, great for a weak skin barrier and compromised skin types.
Aloe BHA Skin Toner
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the texture is to apply. It slips across skin easily when applied using your hands or a cotton pad of some variety. The Aloe Leaf Water holds a lot of moisture and it’s only just a tad more viscous than pure water – this texture therefore doesn’t cause stickiness, and I believe the Beta-Glucan and Hyaluronic Acid do a great job at providing even more moisture than the aloe already provides. After almost two weeks of daily use I have started to see a slight difference in the prominence of my sebaceous filaments. I now MUCH prefer this toner to my previous BHA toner which made my skin feel itchy and dehydrated. I didn’t experience any purging when introducing this product into my routine.
Goodbye Redness Centella Gel
This gel is a fast absorbing product ideal for use at the moisturising step of a morning or evening routine. As is a plant-based formula it doesn’t add oiliness to skin, on the contrary it helps to balance skin’s water-to-oil ratio. This gel provides a sufficient amount of moisture for dry and oily skin types, and retains this moisture well for long-lasting results. This gel helps me to reduce skin redness after cleansing, and doesn’t impair the effectiveness of the skincare products I layer on top of it.
Goodbye Redness Centella Spot Cream
I found that this spot cream has great anti-inflammatory effects and didn’t dry out my skin in comparison to other calamine skincare I have used in the past. However, in relation to application I’d say it works and applies best when used on breakouts rather than the entire face as the pink undertone of the cream is easier to distribute evenly when applied in small amounts. It’s not too thick and doesn’t have a tacky finish so it’s fine to use before sleeping without the fear of the cream completely transferring onto your bedding.

Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack
This mask does a particularly great job at calming down itchiness, cooling down skin temperature and reducing the redness of irritated areas of skin including breakouts. It adheres closely to skin and doesn’t shift out of place during wear. The essence isn’t too watery, nor too thick. It leaves just the right amount of residue to work into skin after removal of the mask. Skin is left feeling well hydrated and more settled. I like that it doesn’t contain fragrance, and is practically scentless.
A+Cica Body Wash (samples)
When dispensed from the packaging this body cleanser has a pinkish-white appearance which then turns into bubble foam when lathered with a small amount of water. The creamy bubbles cleanse skin thoroughly, but don’t leave skin feeling dry or tight. I don’t have body acne, although I agree that this is still a great body wash for me and other people with sensitive skin types regardless whether you experience body acne or not, because it’s non irritating and balances skin’s pH level. I also find the delicate natural herbal aroma to be very pleasant.
