Fun Fact: When ingredients need to be fermented, they must be placed in an environment in which light is practically non-existent.
Neogen "DERMALOGY Real Ferment Micro Toner"
- It's very watery, almost like water, and it's a good thing the bottle has a stopper so the product doesn't easily slip out. It has a minty scent that isn't overpowering; in fact, I find it therapeutic.
Although this exfoliates nicely, personally it didn't give much hydration to my face. It also leaves a residual film, so I suggest layer it up with your favorite serum and moisturizer. Overall, it's not that bad but this didn't particularly stand out for me. I prefer the essence over this.
Neogen Dermalogy " Real Ferment Micro Essence"
- This large clear glass bottle is one of the most potent essences I've tried so far. It's not as vicious as others and has a runny-watery texture that is almost like the toner.
I like how it hydrates my skin in the morning, making my face less oily. It keeps my skin looking bright, supple, and radiant. I've also noticed that it improves the elasticity of my skin. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with combination to oily skin.
Neogen "DERMALOGY Real Ferment Micro Serum"
- The texture of this serum piqued my interest. It says right on the product description that it's a gel-type, but it's quite thick and viscous for a gel, and it has a silky-stringy texture (similar to products containing snail mucin), which is quite unusual.

Neogen Dermalogy "Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50"
- This lightweight sunscreen spreads, blends, and absorbs quickly, leaving a dewy finish with no white cast. In the morning, it simply moisturizes and hydrates my skin. I tried it near my eyes to see if it was truly irritant-free, and thank God it didn't sting or irritate my eyes, lol.
There was no stickiness or tackiness, and reapplication was a breeze. However, if you have oily skin, you may need to lighten the layer of your moisturizer because it may make your face greasy.
