MARY & MAY has been one of the most prominent skincare brands in the market and getting the opportunity to try them is such a blessing. I received their White Collagen Cleansing Foam, Vitamin B5 + Bifida Toner, Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Serum and Idebenone Blackberry Intense Cream.
1. White Collagen Cleansing Foam (3/5)
Its consistency reminds me of those typical drugstore cleansers – runny & silky cream – which will turn into whipped, dense foams once you work to lather it. It does have a mild floral scent which is off-putting at first, but I have gotten used to it. I think a review on cleansers can be pretty straightforward – whether it does its cleansing job perfectly or not – and in this case, I can say that it did. The dense foams feel like a touch of clouds on the skin and glide seamlessly, reaching out every corner of your skin, making sure that your skin will be properly & thoroughly cleansed. It does help to decongest my skin and make it much cleaner and more clarified. Sometimes, my skin will appear to have more radiance after every single one, so I kind of look forward to that when I use this cleanser. It has a large quantity for a cleanser and since you only need around a cherry-sized amount of it for the whole face, this is quite an affordable cleanser.

2. Vitamin B5 + BIfida Toner (4/5)
I must talk about the frosty opaque glass bottle because it is heavy so it gives that kind of “luxurious” vibes which can be fun at times. This toner has a watery & runny consistency with a hint of viscosity that absorbs nicely into the skin, leaving a matte finish. There is no such thing as stickiness either so I can put several layers of it. It has a fragrance that radiates a mild fruity scent but no need to worry because it is not overwhelming or troubling at all. I actually have such a low expectation on this toner, but the performances are not bad actually – it is moderately hydrating and soothing! The hydration is not something super surprising, but it still feels enough on my skin, leaving it plumper & bouncier. I am also impressed that it helps to reduce my mild itchiness too! Well, the price is actually not as expensive as I actually thought so this is a great product.

3. Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Serum (4/5)
One of the things that I love about this serum is its runny, water-gel consistency that just spreads beautifully on the skin, sinking in instantly and leaving a matte finish. Contrary to the cleanser and toner, this serum does not have any added fragrance components so that is a good step-up, personally. I actually do not know what to expect from this serum because the ingredients seem to be a little bit too “vague” in terms of its performance on the skin but when I had my first usage, it gave a huge sense of relief to my irritated skin instantly and kept it calmed throughout the day. It does not necessarily help to reduce any physical inflammation like redness but it is something worth being praised for. Other than that, it helps to uplift my skin radiance – no more dull skin – which is pretty impressive since it has no typical brightening ingredients like Vitamin C or Arbutin. I would say it helps to repair & strengthen my skin barrier as I encountered no breakouts lately so although the price can be a little bit steep, it is a great product!

4. Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Intensive Total Care Cream (5/5)
You know I talked highly about the serum counterpart, right? Well, this moisturizer is just like the serum but with much more to offer or what I would like to say – the “steroid” version. It has a very rich yet lightweight gel-cream that spreads seamlessly, leaving a glass-like, dewy skin. The hydration & brightening effect can be a little bit mediocre but everything else is just top-notch. Due to its beautiful consistency, it helps to create a nice, comfortable protection layer to soothe and calm the skin – be it inflammation and irritation. I notice an immediate tone-down on my skin itchiness and redness, and more surprises – it elevates the goodness of the serum while adding extra radiance to the skin. My skin appears to be plumper and healthier – which is something that we are always craved for. It is super nourishing and moisturizing but does not leave any weird, overwhelming tackiness. At first, I thought all these performances were due to the serum usage, but when I skipped using the serum, this moisturizer was still able to give almost the same performances – an absolute winner here. It is quite affordable too!

Verdict
If I had to choose one from these products, I would definitely choose the cream because of its all-rounder properties. I definitely love the brand and am excited to try more products from them!
