REVIEW on HEIMISH Artless Glow base
Do you use makeup primer? I never did but heimish’s Artless Glow base has changed my mind! After all, it offers a whole list of reasons to. That is,
- Foundation is liquid thus, despite our best efforts, it will find a way to seep into our pores and emphasise them. However, primer seals them off to create that coveted flawless look.
- It reduces the redness of irritated skin and acne for greater coverage.
- It offers a base upon which our foundation can hold onto leading to longer wear.
The unboxing
The product comes in a pretty but simple box which highlights the utility of the brand – perfect for everyday use! Plus, it’s an efficacy cosmetic with UV protection, brightening and anti-wrinkle properties. And the box carries English instructions
The product itself is in a tube form with a gold cap that screws off.
The reveal
The primer is a delicate shade of violet with pearly overtones which is perfect for sallow skin such as mine as it helps counteract the yellow and brightens up my complexion.
I squeezed far too much out but it worked itself into my skin quite well leaving it soft, luminous and dewy, all the while smelling gorgeous (and a little bubble gum-y too)!
I applied some foundation on top of the primer and I liked the outcome! My skin looked brighter, more hydrated and even.
To further test if heimish’s Artless Glow Base helped increase coverage, I applied a smidgen of lipstick on my hand, gently patted on primer and cushion foundation….And I found that I could hide all traces of the lipstick!
Tip: As mentioned on the packaging, this primer can be applied on top of your makeup for a soft, dewy complexion!
Note, I used heimish’s Artless Glow Base in conjunction with its Artless Perfect Cushion (reviewed in an earlier post) which I thought was a great combination. Be sure to follow the links below for a more detailed look at the products!
