Our eyes

Did you know the skin around our eyes is up to 10 times thinner than the skin on the rest of our face or the fact that there are fewer oil glands located in that area? This means that it’s more susceptible to the breakdown of collagen due to sun exposure and aging which in turn results in fine lines or crows feet. It also means that it’s prone to dark circles, puffiness and an array of symptoms that express our lack of rest, over-indulgence in food and general well-being. Petitfee’s Premium Gold EGF Eye Patch contains gold and EGF  (epidermal growth factor) to moisturize and increase the tautness of the skin around our eyes. It also facilitates rejuvenation of skin cells for a radiant glow. Sounds great so far!

The unboxing

The product comes in a lovely yellow and gold box and a spatula is included for sanitary reasons.

The eye patches are absolutely gorgeous! In accordance to its name, it glitters faintly with speckled gold and has a luxurious fragrance.

The reveal

These eye patches are made using hydrogel which means they adhere that much better to your skin which in turn enhances the transference of nutrients from the patches to your face. In other words, better outcomes!

I left the patches on for approximately 20-30 minutes and found afterwards that the area felt more hydrated and the puffiness and dark circles seemed to have calmed down. Note, for a sustained effect, the patches need to be used regularly.

Quick tip: Pop your patches in the fridge for a greater cooling effect! In addition to the delicate skin around your eyes, you can use these patches on other fragile areas such as around your mouth and your neck to prevent the appearance of fine lines.
