[Coreana] Orthia 28 Days Intensive Ampoule Whitening Mask - Review

Today I'll be reviewing Coreana's Orthia 28 Days Intensive Ampoule Whitening Mask!! 

Coreana

Coreana is a well-established Korean beauty brand that has pioneered the development of nature-based cosmetics. Accordingly, it's motto is "Art Through Nature" and its products boast a host of natural ingredients known to be great for your skin. 

This particular mask contains components that predominantly work to prevent premature wrinkling, hydrate and brighten your skin. BTW, brightening (or whitening) does not necessarily mean to bleach your skin! Rather, it is often used to reduce the prominence of hyper-pigmentation or sun spots.

Anti-aging factors:

• Morinda citrifolia fruit extract - this component is known as "the gift of god" and works to provide your skin with resilience.

Hydration factors: 

• Complex polysaccharides - these work to retain moisture and prevent dehydration of the skin.
  

Brightening Factors: 

• Ramulus mori extract - this ingredient is patented by Coreana  and works to brighten your skin for a clear and radiant complexion.

The unboxing

This particular product comes in a set of 10 which is packaged into a chic white and silver box. And on the inside cover is a short (but amusing!) comic strip of a character with dull, tired skin who discovers Coreana's Orthia 28 Days Intensive Ampoule Whitening Mask and sees the light! ♪ ♪ ♪ 

The reveal

This product comprises of a 2 step skin care routine - the first involves a hydrating ampoule and the second a brightening mask sheet.

The pack holds an abundance of ampoule and I over-zealously applied the lot to my skin! As hydrating as it was, it felt a little sticky! So I would recommend that you apply an adequate amount and then keep the rest for a later date.♪ ♪ ♪  I like to keep mine refrigerated and incorporate it into my evening skin care routine! The mask sheet was infused with a dense white serum.

The two steps work together to exert a synergistic effect to provide your skin with an influx of nutrients to brighten and smooth your skin!

After  approximately 20 mins, I removed the mask sheet and patted the remaining essence into my skin. I was pleased to find my skin dewy soft and my sun spots less prominent! Of course, for a more sustained and potent effect, continuous use is required - which is all good, as this mask sheet comes in a pack of 10!
