Have you ever felt that you suddenly look tired, green and rough only because of a lipstick you just tried on? It’s because the color of the lipstick may have a totally wrong undertone on you. There are three classifications for undertones: warm, cool, and neutral. We hear those words all the time, but it is so hard to find out what color tone we have. There are 3 easy ways to determine which category you fall into. Finding out your skin tone can be a fun way to pick out new cosmetics that you might not normally use.
1. Put your fingers on the colors below.
If your fingers look better in orange, you are warm-toned. If your fingers look better in pink, you are cool-toned.
2. Try some gold and silver jewelry against your skin.
If you look better in gold, you are warm-toned. If you look better in silver, you are cool-toned.
3. Check out the veins on your wrists.
If your veins appear blue or purple, you are cool-toned. If they look green, you are warm-toned.
If you look equally good on all tests above, you are a lucky girl who has neutral undertones.
There are some Korean cosmetics that you might want to get as recommendations for your undertone. Click the link below to check out the products.
